A haunting tale of Lovecraft illustrated by Thomas Hijo.
Innsmouth was not always the decaying, muddy ruin it is today. Once, trade with far-flung wilderness communities in the Pacific filled its coffers and its nets with wealth. But with the gold and abundant fishing came strange cults and, starting with the Marshes who were responsible for those remote expeditions, Innsmouth's inhabitants began to wear strange talismans and chant arcane prayers in blasphemous rituals.
Tomás Hijo is a renowned illustrator and a great admirer of H.P. Lovecraft's work. He has illustrated J.R.R. Tolkien and has collaborated with Guillermo del Toro and The Jim Henson Company. At Minotauro, he has illustrated several works by Carlos Sisí. The Shadow over Innsmouth is his passionate approach to the myths of the Providence genius.
